Sure, you've seen us all on Thursday nights, hanging out after the show, holding impromptu dance parties smiling all the while. But have you ever thought about what was hiding behind the smiles? Just exactly what happens behind the diamond-crusted doors of Awkward Silence Comedy?
Photographers spotted Alex the other day on her way out of Kroger, and close-up snapshot of her grocery bag revealed a bottle of Goldschlagger. At the tender age of thirteen, Alex is the next Lindsay Lohan as far as the IU comedy circuit goes. Experts say this and her facial piercing are sure signs of inner turmoil.
ASC Stomps (Almost) Everyone in Chicago

Last weekend, Nov. 2-4, 2007, Brian, Georgia and Alex of Awkward Silence Comedy as well as alumni Justin Purcell, participated in the 1st annual College Comedy Championships. The event was an offshoot of the Chicago Improv Festival, which is held in the spring. Sixteen teams from various colleges across America participated in the festival, and ASC came in 2nd place, winning them a cash prize of $500, which they plan to spend on t-shirts for the group's fans.

The voting has ended. The results for the annual Best of Bloomington poll in the IDS Weekend are out. And Awkward Silence Comedy is...third place in the category of 'Best Place to Have Fun on Campus.' Was this in the newspaper? No. But, we are listed here, on the IDS Weekend's website.
It has been a semeser of you were so close moments for Awkward Silence Comedy, recently coming in second place in the Chicago College Comedy Festival.
