Awkward Silence Comedy is Indiana University's only short-form/long-form hybrid improv comedy troupe. The troupe performs every Thursday each semester at 9:00PM at the Indiana Memorial Union.

Founded in 2004 by Brian M. Frange the group has evolved to become a staple of the vibrant comedy community at Indiana University - Bloomington. The group has performed all over campus including dorms, fraternities, and the Union, in the city of Bloomington including The Waldron Arts Center and Bear's Place and at improv festivals throughout the country including the Ball State Improv Festival, Oberlin College Improv Festival and The Chicago College Improv Festival.

All of the shows are completely improvised, made up on the spot, never seen before, never to be seen again. All of the shows are based on suggestions by the audience guaranteeing a new and different show each and every week.
